Women's Ministry

We have a very active Women's Ministry program here at the church. With three separate leadership teams, we strive to serve Christ and the families in the church with gladness. by serving the women in the church and helping them to understand their incredible value to God and each other, we strive to help families grow in grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Through our WOW program (Women of Worth, the Word and Worship), we have a team of over 20 leaders, co-leaders and support staff who offer a wide range of studies in God's Word for those just beginning to understand the Bible to in-depth verse by verse studies, and everything in between.

During the 2007-2208 year, in the morning program, we will offer two studies especially for moms, "Shepherding a Child's heart" and "How to Make Your Kid Mind Without Losing Yours!", a class for ladies over 55 who enjoy community and fellowship, a brand-new study on Revelation, a Beth Moore study in Daniel and an in-depth study of James and Peter.

In the evening WOW program, for the first time in several years, we will offer two classes, one from the Women of Faith Series, "Contagious Contentment"  in the fall and "Contagious Joy" in the spring. Designed for working women who enjoy fellowship centered around the Word and building relationships with one another, this study is not to be missed.

The second evening study will work through Genesis. "Without a biblical worldview, all the great teaching goes in one ear and out the other. There are no intellectual pegs...in the mind of the individuals to hang these truths on. So they just pass through. They don't stick. They don't make a difference." Studying Genesis will help you develop those intellectual pegs on which to hang Truth. It all begins in Genesis on Wednesday evenings starting September 12, 2007.

"Moms of Faith" is a new class just beginning for those women who would enjoy meeting with other moms on a bi-monthly schedule. Offered every other Friday night, this group provides dinner and child care (if needed) and they are going through "Lord, Calm My Anxious Heart".
