Our
History
The Evangelical Free Church of Diamond Bar began when six families
met for Bible study in January 1967. Later that year they began
formal church services in a home in the community.
As the church grew, they moved services to several different locations
including local schools, the YMCA and the site of the original Diamond
Bar Ranch house. With the help of a Christian realtor and a developer,
the property was secured in 1980. Construction began in 1982 and
the first building was completed in April 1983.
In 1992, a classroom
building was added and the final building, the Family Worship Center,
was completed and occupied on Easter 2000. Find out more about our
Heart to Reach campaign.
Over the past 30 years the Evangelical Free Church of
Diamond Bar has grown from the original six families to over 300
families today. The church is served by three full-time pastors
and several other part-time pastoral staff
and interns.
