"Heart To Reach" Campaign
As our church continues to grow, we have needed more space for the many different ministries and programs here at Diamond Bar Evangelical Free.
In 1996, we launched a three-year effort to raise money to build a new multipurpose auditorium, more classrooms, more restrooms and more parking. This first campaign was called "Heart To Build". During the following three years, over $500,000 was given toward this effort.
In addition to the "Heart
To Build" funds, we secured a line of credit from a local credit
union that enabled us to begin construction of the new Family Worship
Center. Ground was broken in October, 1998, and the new facility
was dedicated in April, 2000.
The "Heart To Grow" campaign was
launched in 2000 as a second phase to help us repay the credit line,
to enable us to remodel some of our older facilities and to allow
us to expand our parking around the remainder of our property. Over
$500,000 was pledged toward this second campaign and people gave
faithfully to this fund. The "Heart To Grow" effort continued
through the Spring of 2003.
The third phase of this program is called
"Heart to Reach". It began in 2003 and is scheduled to
be completed in the spring of 2006. God is faithfully providing
the funds needed to pay off our loan and do additional remodeling
of our facilities to support the growing ministries of our church.
